On April 17, 1904 St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church conducted its first Sunday Worship. Although the gathered group may have been small by our standards, their faith and vision knew only the abounded grace and love of God.

Many years later, that which was planted had grown in size and scope. There are many, if not more, challenges and Kingdom opportunities. Yet its source of life and vitality remains the same; the grace and love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord.

In chapter 15 of John's Gospel, Jesus says: "I am the vine; you are the branches" Firmly grafted into Jesus, may we the branches continue to bear fruit, pleasing to God in every way.
